SECONDARY BATTERY

The present disclosure relates to a secondary battery, and more specifically, to a secondary battery that can be charged and discharged. A secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include an electrode assembly; a pouch-type exterior material having an internal space that accommodates the electrode assembly and an exterior material opening that allows the internal space to communicate with the outside; a cover member inserted into the exterior material opening to seal the internal space; and a gas pocket formed on the pouch-type exterior material to capture gas generated in the internal space.
