Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a battery and an electric apparatus. The battery comprises a container and a battery cell; a containment cavity is formed in the container; the battery cell is arranged in the containment cavity, and the container is provided with a clearance area; the clearance area protrudes outward in a direction away from the battery cell and forms a protruding platform, so that a corresponding inner wall of the containment cavity is recessed to form an accommodating slot; a protrusion is formed on an outer surface of the battery cell, and at least a portion of the protrusion is located in the accommodating slot.
