A non-aqueous electrolytic solution energy storage device according to one aspect of the present invention includes: an electrode body including a positive electrode and a negative electrode; a non-aqueous electrolytic solution; and a container accommodating therein the electrode body and the non-aqueous electrolytic solution, in which: the positive electrode includes a positive electrode active material layer containing a positive electrode active material; the negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material layer containing a negative electrode active material; the positive electrode active material contains a tungsten element; the negative electrode active material contains graphite; the non-aqueous electrolytic solution contains a first additive having a reductive decomposition potential of 1.5 V (vs. Li/Li+) or more; and a ratio (A1/B) of an amount of substance (A1) of the first additive contained in the non-aqueous electrolytic solution to a surface area (B) of the negative electrode active material layer is 2.0×10-7 mol/m2 or more.
