The present invention provides a lithium battery comprising: a positive electrode comprising a positive electrode active material; a negative electrode comprising a negative electrode active material; and an electrolytic solution; wherein the positive electrode active material comprises a material comprising nickel, cobalt and manganese; and wherein the electrolytic solution comprises a non-aqueous organic solvent, a lithium salt, and adiponitrile.
