Provided is a pneumatic tire that can suppress a decrease in air sealing performance while suppressing noise. A pneumatic tire 1 includes a tread portion 2, a self-sealing sealant layer 10 disposed on a tire inner cavity i side of the tread portion 2, and a sound-damping body 12 attached to the sealant layer 10, and is configured such that, when a foreign matter that has penetrated the tread portion 2 comes into contact with the sound-damping body 12, the sound-damping body 12 becomes separated from the sealant layer 10.
