A heat management system (17) for turbomachinery (10) is provided. The heat management system (17) includes a thermal delivery system (18) configured to providing heating, cooling, or a combination thereof, to turbomachinery (10). The thermal delivery system (18) includes a first heat transfer conduit (152) and a second heat transfer conduit (154). The second heat transfer conduit (154) is disposed on the turbomachinery (10) adjacent to the first heat transfer conduit (152). The heat management system (17) additionally includes a controller (14) operatively coupled to the thermal delivery system (18) and configured to control the heating, the cooling, or the combination thereof, of the turbomachinery (10) via the thermal delivery system (18).
