Source
A gaseous fuel delivery system (10) for a gaseous fuel internal combustion engine (12) comprises: a fuel tank (14); a gaseous fuel supply line (16) connecting said fuel tank to a fuel rail (19) delivering gaseous fuel to fuel injectors (17); and a pressure regulator (18) arranged in the gaseous fuel supply line (16). A lubricating device (20) is arranged in the gaseous fuel supply line (16) downstream of the pressure regulator (18) and configured to selectively introduce lubricant into the flow of gaseous fuel in said gaseous fuel supply line (16). A filtering device (26) is arranged in said fuel supply line (16), the filtering device being configured to remove, from the flow of gaseous fuel passing therethrough, lubricant quantities exceeding a predetermined threshold.
