HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE AND HEAD-UP DISPLAY SYSTEM

This head-up display device is provided in a vehicle together with a head lamp. The head-up display device comprises a light source, a control unit and a projection unit. The light source outputs white light with a variable correlated colour temperature. The control unit adjusts the correlated colour temperature of the white light output from the light source. The projection unit forms image light by means of the white light output from the light source. The projection unit projects the image light onto a member to be projected onto, which is positioned in front of a driver of the vehicle, and thereby displays a virtual image superimposed on the view of said driver. The control unit adjusts the correlated colour temperature of the white light output from the light source, depending on the correlated colour temperature of emission light output from the head lamp.
