The aircraft (30) can have a first engine (32) secured to a first wing (36) on a first side of a fuselage (42), and a second engine (34) secured to a second wing (44) on a second side of the fuselage (42), the second wing (44) having a proximal end (46) secured to the fuselage (42), and a distal end (48) extending away from the fuselage (42). While operating the first engine (32), compressed gas can be conveyed from the first engine (32) to a thrust generating device (54) located at the distal end of the second wing (44).
