BRAKING SYSTEM

Disclosed is an aircraft braking system (100) for an aircraft (10), the aircraft comprising first and second brakes (14a, 14b), the aircraft braking system comprising first and second energy distribution systems (110, 120) for delivering energy to the first and second brakes (14a, 14b) to operate the respective first and second brakes. The aircraft braking system (100) is switchable between: a first configuration, in which the first energy distribution system (110) is coupled to the first brake (14a) and is isolated from the second brake (14b), and the second energy distribution system (120) is coupled to the second brake (14b) and is isolated from the first brake (14a); and a second configuration, in which the first energy distribution system (110) is coupled to both the first and second brakes (14a, 14b).
