CARGO BAR

A cargo bar (1) intended to be fitted between a floor and a ceiling of a cargo space. The cargo bar (1) comprises: a first section (2) and a second section (3) telescopically displaceable with respect to said first section (2) between a contracted position and an expanded position. A maneuvering mechanism (100) including a rotatable lever (101) is arranged to longitudinally displace said second section (3) toward said contracted position when said lever (101) is rotated in a first direction. In a locked position of locking means (200), said second section (3) is locked in said contracted position. An actuating member (104) is adapted to interact, when said lever (101) is rotated in a second direction opposite the first direction, with the locking means (200) to release the second section (3), bringing the second section (3) into its expanded position by action of an expansion biasing element (7).
