Socket for a quick-acting coupling system

The present invention relates to a connector (100) for a quick coupling system with a mating connector. The connector (100) comprises an insertion section (101) for inserting the mating connector and a locking lever (103) with a first resilient lever section (103-1) for locking the mating connector within the insertion section (101) on a first side; a second resilient lever section (103-2) for locking the mating connector within the insertion section (101) on a second side; and a third lever section (103-3) for spreading the first and second resilient lever sections (103-1, 103-2) by pressing the locking lever (103) in the direction of the insertion section (101) in order to unlock the mating connector.
