CHILD SAFETY SEAT

A child safety seat (100) includes a seat shell (106) for receiving a child, an extension member (120), an extension locking mechanism (122) operable to lock the extension member (120) with respect to the seat shell (106), and an anti-rebound part (140, 240, 340, 440, 440', 540, 640, 740, 840, 940). The anti-rebound part (140, 240, 340, 440, 440', 540, 640, 740, 840, 940) can be installed on the extension member (120) or the seat shell (106). The child safety seat (100) is installable on a vehicle seat in a rear facing position with the anti-rebound part (140, 240, 340, 440, 440', 540, 640, 740, 840, 940) extending at an angle above the extension member (120) and adjacent to a seatback of the vehicle seat.
