A gas turbine engine (10; 110; 310; 510) has an engine core (11; 111; 311; 528A); a core output shaft (34) drivable by the engine core (11...528A); a power output shaft (26; 126; 326; 526); an auxiliary power shaft (40); and a reduction gearbox (24; 124; 324; 524) having gears, the gears drivingly connecting the core output shaft (34) to the auxiliary power shaft (40). The gears can include an epicyclic gearing (46; 146) drivingly connecting the core output shaft (34) and the auxiliary power shaft (40) to the power output shaft (26...526). A second auxiliary power shaft is interconnected to the auxiliary power shaft (40), the power output shaft (26...526), and the core output shaft (34) by the gears.
