A gas turbine engine (20) has a low pressure turbine (46) driving a fan rotor (42) through a gear reduction gearbox (48). The low pressure turbine (46) has an input shaft (102) driving a sun gear (116). The sun gear (116) drives intermediate gears (118). There is an output shaft driven by one of a carrier (120) and a ring gear (122) in the gear reduction gearbox (48) to in turn drive a fan drive shaft (124) to drive the fan (42). A bearing compartment housing (104) encloses the gear reduction gearbox (48). A fan shaft bearing (108) supports the fan drive shaft (124). An oil supply system delivers oil to at least one of the sun gear (116), the intermediate gears (118) and the ring gear (122). A scavenge system returns oil from the bearing compartment housing (104) to a sump (140). An ejector pump (134) communicates with a source of pressurized fluid to assist in driving oil from within the bearing compartment housing (104) into a scavenge tube (132).
