The present invention relates to an electric heating device (1) which has at least two heating modules (3) and a control housing (9). Power electronics for the electrical supply of the heating modules (3) are arranged in the control housing (9). An electrically conductive conductor arrangement (32) electrically connects an electrically conductive outer shell (7) of the respective heating module (3) to the housing (9).Improved operational reliability and reduced operational malfunctions as well as a simplified manufacture are achieved by the conductor arrangement (32) having a rail (37) from which arm (38) protrude and are in electric contact with corresponding outer shells (7).The invention further relates to a motor vehicle (35) with such an electric heating device (1).
