PROPULSION SYSTEM FOR AN ELECTRIC OR HYBRID VEHICLE

Propulsion system (1) for an electric or hybrid vehicle, comprising in an orthogonal reference frame (XYZ): - a set of n electric propulsion machines (2), n being an integer greater than or equal to 2, each electric machine comprising a stator (21), a rotor (22) having an output shaft (23) movable in rotation about a rotor axis (X) and a protective casing (24) surrounding the stator; - a gear train (3) kinematically linked to the n output shafts and capable of receiving the motor torque supplied by the n electric machines (2), - a transmission casing (4) supporting the protective casings of the n electric machines and at least partly the gear train; in which the protective casings (24) of the n electric machines are interconnected by at least one noise reduction element (5) disposed geometrically between the axes of rotation of the rotors.
