The invention relates to a hearing implant, an external hearing device and a hearing system wherein the hearing implant is implantable in a user. The hearing implant comprises an electrode array for stimulating a cochlea nerve of the user and a rechargeable battery assembly comprising a rechargeable battery. The rechargeable battery is chargeable by power or energy supplied by an external charging device via a wireless magnetic induction link.
