A motor vehicle fuel tank comprising a main tank (1), wherein the main tank (1) comprises at least one main extraction unit (2), wherein the main extraction unit comprises a main supply line (2) for extracting fuel from the main tank, wherein the motor vehicle fuel tank comprises an auxiliary tank (3) arranged laterally on the main tank (1) and tightly sealed to the main tank (1), wherein the auxiliary tank (3) comprises an auxiliary extraction unit, wherein the auxiliary extraction unit comprises an auxiliary supply line (4) for extracting fuel from the auxiliary tank (3), wherein the auxiliary tank (3) comprises a filler neck (5) for direct refueling of the auxiliary tank (3), wherein the auxiliary tank (3) is separated from the main tank (1) by a partition wall (6), wherein the partition wall (6) is designed as a wall without openings in a lower section in the installation position, and wherein the partition wall in an upper section, above the lower section, has at least one opening (7) in order to form an overflow between auxiliary tank (3) and main tank (1).
