The invention relates to a lashing bracket (1) for attachment to a loading surface (2) of a heavy-duty motor vehicle, wherein the lashing bracket (1) has a substantially U-shaped configuration (U), with a cross member (3) and two legs extending from the cross member (3), a first leg (4) and a second leg (5), wherein the legs (4, 5) at their ends (10, 27) facing away from the cross member (3) can be connected with a securing element (6, 6') for securing to the loading surface (2) and the first leg (4), which has a longitudinal axis (x), has a securing formation (11) at its end (10) facing away from the cross member. In order to further improve a lashing bracket of the type in question, it is proposed that the securing element (6, 6') can be pivoted about the longitudinal axis (x) between a mounting position, in which the securing formation (11) can be overrun by the securing element (6, 6'), and a locking position, in which the securing formation (11) cannot be overrun by the securing element (6, 6').
