The present invention relates to a vehicle seat (1), in particular a sports car seat, comprising a seat shell (2), comprising a backrest (2-1) for the back of a driver, a shell seat part (2-2) for the pelvis and thighs of the driver, and side wings (2-3, 2-4) for the pelvis, thighs, waist, back and shoulders of the driver, and at least one multi-part upholstery (6), wherein the multi-part upholstery (6) comprises a multi-part upholstered seat part (6-1) and a multi-part upholstered backrest part (6-2), wherein the multi-part upholstered seat part (6-1) comprises a first upholstered seat sub-part (6-1a) for the buttocks of the driver and a second upholstered seat sub-part (6-1b) for the support of the thighs of the driver, wherein the multi-part upholstered backrest part (6-2) comprises at least a first upholstered backrest sub-part (6-2a) for the region of the lumbar vertebrae and/or waist of the driver and at least a second upholstered backrest sub-part (6-2b) for the upper body of the driver, and wherein the parts (6-1, 6-2) of the upholstery (6) are releasably connected to one another and/or releasably connected to the seat shell (2) by means of structural connecting means (12), so that the upholstery (6) is attached in one piece to the seat shell (2).
