Vehicle seat (1), comprising a backrest (2) with a backrest upholstery part (10a) and a backrest frame part (2a) and a seat part (3) with a seat upholstery part (10b) and a seat frame part (3a), wherein the seat part (3) is arranged displaceable relative to the backrest (2) in the vehicle seat longitudinal direction forwards (1a1) and/or backwards (1a2), wherein a rocker-like element (5) within the backrest upholstery part (10a) is pivotably arranged about an axis (6) arranged on the backrest frame part (2b) in the seat width direction (1b), and wherein a first drive element (7) connected by means of a second connection (11b) to the seat frame part (3b) is operably connectable to a lower end (5b2) of the rocker-like element (5) by means of a first connection (11a), such that upon displacement of the seat part (3) relative to the backrest (2) forwards (1a1) at least the lower end (5b2) of the rocker-like element (5) is also displaceable forwards (1a1).
