The secondary battery (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) includes an electrode assembly (130, 230, 330, 430, 530), a case body (110, 310, 510) having an open first side surface accommodating the electrode assembly (130, 230, 330, 430, 530) and an electrolyte solution, and a case cover (120) attached to the first side surface of the case body (110, 310, 510), the case body (110, 310, 510) includes an injection port (113, 213, 313, 413, 513) on a second side surface (110a, 310a) different from the first side surface for receiving the electrolyte solution, and a discharge port (114, 221) is on a third side surface (110b, 310b) opposite to the second side surface (110a, 310a) and discharges at least a part of the electrolyte solution injected into the injection port (113, 213, 313, 413, 513) to an outside.
