A method of controlling a cycling pressure of a secondary battery can include assembling the secondary battery by stacking a cathode, a separator, and an anode in order; activating the secondary battery by applying a pressure of 5 MPa or less; and cycling the secondary battery by applying the pressure of 5 MPa or less.
