The invention relates to a traction battery module (1) for supplying power to a traction converter (9) for an electric drive motor (10) of a vehicle, comprising at least one battery module (2), with a battery module converter (3) connected to the battery module (2) for providing a supply voltage to the traction converter (9). The invention further relates to an electric drive train (11) for a vehicle as well as a method for supplying power to a traction converter (9) for an electric drive motor (10) of a vehicle by means of a traction battery module (1), which comprises at least one battery module (2), wherein a battery module converter (3) is connected to the battery module (2) for providing a supply voltage to the traction converter (9).
