Source
The invention relates to a lighting device particularly for a motor vehicle, comprising at least: - a first light source (710) and first optical means (720) intended to participate in the generation of a first beam presenting an upper cutoff, - a second light source (9, 8, 12) and second optical means (13, 14) intended to participate in the generation of a second beam presenting a lower cutoff, and - control means for the first and second light sources capable of switching on these first and second sources together to simultaneously generate the first and second beams, the first and second optical means being capable of projecting the first and second beams so that the lower cutoff is disposed on or below the upper cutoff to form a road beam, the device being characterized in that it further comprises means (73) for reducing the light intensity of at least one of the two beams as a function of the relative inclination of the vehicle with respect to the road on which it is traveling.
