LOAD COMPARTMENT COVER HAVING SOUND-ABSORBING CHARACTERISTICS

The invention relates to a load compartment cover with sound-absorbing properties with a load compartment (5) provided between the rear seats and a rear door, consisting of a sound-absorbing partition arranged at a distance above the floor of the load compartment (5) made from a material that is partially transparent to sound waves. Such a load compartment cover should be easy to handle in practice and should have no disadvantages compared to known load compartment covers. This is achieved in that the partition is formed from multiple, preferably two, films (6, 7) arranged at a distance one above the other, in that the films (6, 7) are provided with a microperforation and in that exclusively an air cushion is provided between the films (6, 7).
