PNEUMATIC TYRES FOR A VEHICLE

DRIVE July 20, 2016
Source
Vehicle pneumatic tire, in particular for use under winter driving conditions, with a tread that has at least one profile block row (2) extending in the central region of the tread, whose profile blocks (2a) are separated from one another in the circumferential direction by transverse grooves (5), which are bounded at the tread surface by profile block edges (5a), which all extend at least substantially parallel to one another and at an angle (±) of 30° to 45° to the axial direction, wherein each profile block (2a) is provided with at least two cuts (11, 11') which extend in a wavy, zigzag, step-like or similar manner in plan view and run parallel to one another in each profile block (2a). In the central region of the tread, at least one profile block row (2) is arranged, in which a profile block (2a) in which the cuts (11') run parallel to the profile block edges (5a) bounded by transverse grooves (5) alternates with a profile block (2a) in which the cuts (11) run at an angle (³) of 50° to 70° to the profile block edges (5a) bounded by transverse grooves (5).
