The invention is directed at a computer-implemented method for determining a current angle of lateral inclination α of a curved roadway (22) by means of a vehicle (10), wherein a current yaw rate θ̇ of the vehicle (10) is determined. If the absolute value of the current yaw rate θ̇ is greater than a predefined threshold θ̇th, the angle α is determined based on a difference in velocity from current velocities of two wheels (20.1, 20.2) of the vehicle (10) projected in a direction of movement of the vehicle (10). If the current yaw rate θ̇ is less than the predefined threshold θ̇th, the angle α is determined based on the vehicle's (10) lateral acceleration ay.
