The invention relates to a device (1) for cooling a functional element of a vehicle, comprising at least one protective screen (2) intended to extend under the vehicle. The device is characterized by a protective screen comprising a means of enhanced cooling (5) of said functional element (4) to be cooled allowing, during movement of the vehicle, to capture air and generate an air flow (F) of increased intensity directed towards said functional element (4) to be cooled, said enhanced cooling means (5) comprising an air scoop (10) disposed in the air collector (6), said scoop comprising vertical partitions (11) connected to one another by means of at least one inclined transverse partition (12). The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising such a device.
