A soil compaction machine, in particular a soil compactor, comprises - a rear carriage (14) with an internal combustion engine (26), - at least one drive wheel (20) on each side of the internal combustion engine (26), - a driver's cab (22) offset in a machine longitudinal direction (L) with respect to the internal combustion engine (26), - a fuel tank (28) for supplying fuel to the internal combustion engine (26), - an additive tank (30), - a hydraulic fluid tank (32), wherein the additive tank (30) is arranged in the machine longitudinal direction (L) following a drive wheel (20) and in a machine transverse direction substantially beside the drive wheel (20).
