VERTICALLY MOVABLE TRAILER COUPLING FOR A VEHICLE

A height-adjustable trailer coupling (1) for a vehicle has a support bracket (2) that is guided so as to be displaceable between guide rails. The support bracket (2) carries a coupling head (4) which serves to connect a trailer. To extend the functionality of the trailer coupling (1), a sensor (7) is provided on the support bracket (2) that detects deformations occurring during tensile and compressive loads. This sensor (7) is in operative connection with a display device.
