Height-adjustable trailer coupling
DRIVE
April 8, 2015
A height-adjustable trailer coupling (1) comprises at least one displaceable carrier (4) which carries at least one coupling link (8). This carrier (4) is guided to be displaceable between guide rails (2), in which recesses and/or bores (3) are provided. Movable locking bolts (5) can engage in these recesses and/or bores (3). These are held on the carrier (4) to be displaceable between a release position allowing adjustment of the carrier (4) and a locking position engaging in the recesses and/or bores (3). To facilitate handling of this trailer coupling, at least one locking pin (20) is held on at least one of the guide rails (2). This is biased resiliently against the displaceable carrier (4). The locking pin (20) can engage in at least one locking receptacle (23) of the carrier (4) in order to lock the carrier (4) in a position in which the locking bolts (5) are aligned with the recesses and/or bores (3). The locking pin (20) and/or the carrier (4) have at least one chamfer (24) in order to push the locking pin (20) away from the carrier (4) against the biasing when the carrier (4) is displaced relative to the guide rails (2).
