A load floor (100) for a luggage compartment (200) of a vehicle, wherein the load floor (100) is configured to occupy at least: a first area (201) having a longitudinal dimension L1 and; a second area (202) of the luggage compartment (200), having a longitudinal dimension L2, wherein L2 is greater than L1; wherein the load floor (100) comprises a longitudinal dimension, according to the forward direction of the vehicle, equal to L2; wherein the load floor (100) comprises at least one slot (101) arranged at the forward end of said load floor (100), such that the load floor (100) is configured so that, when occupying the first area (201) inside the luggage compartment (200), the at least one slot (101) is located in correspondence with the fitting (203) or structure of the rear seat (300) of the vehicle.
