Device for closing tension belts

The present invention relates to a device (1) for closing tension straps (2) for fastening and tensioning a tension strap band (3), which is looped around a body with one end and inserted into a tensioner (4) and wound therein onto a shaft (5), wherein the shaft (5) of the tensioner (4) is rotatable in a rotational direction by means of a tension lever (6), so that the tension strap band (3) is subjected to a tensile stress and on the tension lever (6) a slot-like recess (6a) aligned transversely to its longitudinal direction is provided, through which the tension strap band (3) is guided. The device (1) is characterized in that it comprises a grip part (10), on which at least one lever element (11) adapted to the slot-like recess (6a) and formed as a flat body is provided, which has at least one stop (11a) aligned transversely to the longitudinal direction of the device (1), which functions as a support of the lever element (11), by means of which the tension lever (6) can be leveraged into a closed position.
