The invention relates to a cylinder head assembly (2) for an internal combustion engine (1), in particular of a motor vehicle, having at least one cylinder head (3) with at least one intake port (4) through which combustion air can be introduced into a combustion chamber (5) of the internal combustion engine (1). In order to improve the cooling effect when injecting a cooling fluid (7) into an internal combustion engine (1), the invention proposes that the cylinder head assembly (2) has at least one injection valve (6) arranged on the cylinder head (3) for injecting a cooling fluid (7) directly into the intake port (4).
