The invention relates to a rear carrier coupling (1), wherein the rear carrier coupling (1) can be mounted on a ball coupling (101) designed as a trailer coupling of a vehicle (151). A lower clamping device (5) comprises at least two clamping jaws (6, 7), wherein the clamping jaws (6, 7) in the mounted state of the rear carrier coupling (1) bear against a second section (103b) of a neck (103) of the ball coupling (101) in such a manner that pitching of the rear carrier coupling (1) about a transverse axis (Q102) oriented transversely to the direction of travel of the ball head (102), rolling of the rear carrier coupling (1) about a longitudinal axis (L102) of the ball head (102) running in the direction of travel (F151), and yawing of the rear carrier coupling (1) about the center axis (M102) of the ball head (102) are each prevented by bilateral contact of the clamping jaws (6, 7) against the second section (103b) of the neck (103).
