The invention relates to a crankshaft starter generator, comprising a stator (3), a rotor (4), a rotor carrier (2), and a starter ring gear (5) connected in rotationally fixed manner to the rotor carrier (2), which is arranged on a cylindrical lateral surface (2a) of the rotor carrier (2). The crankshaft starter generator furthermore comprises a second ring gear (6) connected in rotationally fixed manner to the rotor carrier (2), which is arranged on the cylindrical lateral surface (2a) of the rotor carrier (2) axially offset relative to the starter ring gear.
