Provided is a pneumatic tire excellent in uniformity. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire including a sealant layer located radially inside an innerliner, the pneumatic tire being produced by continuous and spiral application of a generally string-shaped sealant to the inner peripheral surface of the tire under conditions satisfying the following Expression (I): A = LS × T × Á × LD ‰¤ 6100 wherein LS represents the length (mm) by which the position of the application shifts in the width direction of the tire per turn of the spiral; T represents the thickness (mm) of the sealant; p represents the specific gravity of the sealant; and LD represents the length (mm) of the difference in the circumferential direction of the tire between the beginning and ending points of the sealant application.
