DRIVE
April 6, 2016
A suspension leg (10) comprises a telescopic shock absorber (12), a coil spring (14) and a suspension bump stop (18). The rotation of the bump stop (18) is ensured by a smooth or rolling bearing (20) comprising an upper washer (22) and a lower washer (24), the lower washer (24) forming a lower flat annular bearing surface (32) for the telescopic shock absorber (12), extending radially inward with respect to the upper washer (24). The bump stop comprises a monobloc cup (34, 134) having an upper face (36) comprising a contact zone (38) with the lower washer (24) of the bearing and a lower face (42) comprising an outer flat annular shoulder (44) and an at least partially cylindrical annular bearing surface (46) facing radially outward delimiting with the outer shoulder (44) a peripheral annular bearing zone (47) for the upper end of the coil spring (14). The upper face (36) of the monobloc cup (34) comprises reinforcing ribs (40) located radially outside the contact zone, the lower flat annular bearing surface (32) extending radially inward with respect to the monobloc cup (34).
