A suspension strut (14) comprises: an upper washer (28) made of metal defining an axis of revolution (100) and an axial orientation with a top and a bottom, the upper washer (28) presenting an upper guidance path (34) and an upper face (42) opposite to the upper guidance path (34), a lower washer (30) made of metal disposed under the upper washer (28) and defining a lower guidance path (36) located facing the upper guidance path (34), one or more guidance bodies (32) circulating on the upper guidance path (34) and the lower guidance path (36) to guide the lower washer (30) in rotation relative to the upper washer (28) around the axis of revolution (100), and a cover (26) comprising a bearing portion (38) extending radially and forming a lower bearing face (40) bearing against the upper face (42) of the upper washer (28), a confinement skirt (44) of a shock stop (20), located radially inside the upper washer (28) and the lower washer (30) and extending axially from the bearing portion (38) toward the bottom. The bearing portion (38) is integrally made of plastic material and the confinement skirt (44) comprises plastic material overmolded onto an annular reinforcement insert (46), the reinforcement insert (46) being located axially entirely under the lower washer (30).
