The invention relates to a seat (1) for a vehicle and in particular for an armored vehicle. This seat comprises a backrest (2) and a seat pan (3), comprising a tilting tablet (12) articulated with respect to the backrest (2), the tablet being able to be positioned in a folded position in a housing (11) of the backrest at the level of a front face of the latter which is intended to receive the back of a user sitting on the seat. This seat is characterized in that it comprises armrests (17) on which the tablet (12) comes to rest in an unfolded position.
