The present invention relates to a passenger seat for vehicles comprising a seat frame structure (8) supporting a seating surface (1), a backrest (3) being arranged at the seat in a tilting manner and an actuation mechanism (9,15,16;30,31,32) for activating the tilting of the backrest (3), and further comprising a seat structure (4) adapted for receiving infants and being arranged at the backrest (3) opposite to the seating surface (1), in which the infant seat structure (4) comprises an infant seating surface (5) being arranged at the backrest (3) in a tilting manner.
