A holder according to the invention for a blind spot sensor module (2) of a motor vehicle comprises a mounting means (6) for the blind spot sensor module (2) and at least two connecting regions (4, 4', 4") arranged on mutually opposite sides of the mounting means (6) for fixing the holder (1) to a component of the motor vehicle, wherein the holder (1) is adapted for fixing to an inside of a bumper valence (10) of the motor vehicle. The invention also concerns a bumper valence of a motor vehicle and a method of mounting a blind spot sensor module (2) to a motor vehicle.
