Folding sliding roof (1) for motor vehicles, for at least partially opening and closing a vehicle interior, comprising a roof cover (3) and a roof surface component (2), wherein the roof surface component (2) is arranged in the front region of the folding sliding roof (1), and wherein the roof cover is attached to the roof surface component (2), wherein when the folding sliding roof (1) is opened, the roof surface component (2) is erected further towards the rear than towards the front in the vehicle longitudinal direction, and wherein wrinkling of the roof cover (3) upon pushing the roof surface component (2) to the rear occurs substantially beneath the surface (O) of the roof surface component (2).
