Described and illustrated is a superstructure (1-1V), in particular a box superstructure, of a commercial vehicle (N), preferably a truck, trailer or semi-trailer, with a cargo space (7-7V) arranged therein and at least one lighting unit (8-8V) for illuminating the cargo space (7-7V). In order to avoid damage to the lighting units and to keep the assembly effort low, it is provided that the lighting unit (8-8V) is elongated, in particular band-shaped, and is at least partially accommodated in at least one receptacle (11-11V) of a receiving component (9-9V) delimiting the cargo space (7-7V), such that the part of the lighting unit (8-8V) accommodated in the receptacle (11-11V) does not project into the cargo space (7-7V) relative to the receiving component (9-9V), in particular the areas of the receiving component (9-9V) provided on opposite sides of the lighting unit (8-8V).
