The present invention relates to a bed for a vehicle, comprising two longitudinal supports (11), a plurality of transverse bars (12, 12') joined to said longitudinal supports (11), said longitudinal supports comprising at each end a connection element making it possible to connect the bed (10) to the vehicle. This bed is characterized in that said longitudinal supports are each composed of at least two parts capable of being assembled rigidly together, in that its longitudinal supports are adjustable in length, and in that said transverse bars (12, 12') are also adjustable in length, making it possible to define a spacing between the two longitudinal supports (11) according to the shape of the vehicle.
