The subject matter of the present invention is an overhead line system (20) with a contact wire (1) to which at least one vibration damper (21) is attached, characterized in that the at least one vibration damper (21) is attached to the contact wire (1) in such a manner that the vibration damper (21) leaves free the region of the contact wire (25) facing the ground for traversal of the contact wire by a current collector.
