TOWING DEVICE AND VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH SUCH A TOWING DEVICE

The invention relates to a towing device (2) for a vehicle equipped with a tilting rear ramp (3). The towing device (2) comprises a hook (6) integral with a support (7) which is pivotally mounted with respect to the vehicle body (4). The support (7) is connected to the body by means of at least one toggle lever (14) constituted by two rods (14a, 14b) articulated together, the axes (15, 16, 18) of the toggle lever being all parallel to the pivot axis (8) of the support (7), the rods forming between them an angle (±) less than 180° when the ramp is closed, the opening of the ramp causing, by means of a control form (13), an opening of the toggle lever (14) with an angle of the rods greater than 180°. The invention also relates to a vehicle equipped with such a towing device.
