Industrial truck with a battery-powered drive, which has a vehicle control system and at least one vehicle battery, each of which is equipped with a battery control system to which measured values for the voltage and/or current of the battery are applied, wherein the battery control system is connected to the vehicle control system for exchanging signals, wherein at least one of the batteries has an inclination sensor which applies a value for a sensed inclination to the battery control system, which forwards the value for the sensed inclination to the vehicle control system.
